Post-War Accidents

With the end of World War II, the Navy entered the Cold War with a cadre of experienced and battle-tested officers and enlisted crewmen for their submarines. These men were able to pass on valuable lessons to a new generation of submariners. Unfortunately, sometimes experience and knowledge were not enough to prevent an accident from ocurring.
